I ordered two meals and four waters to go, and my bill came to $68, which I felt was too high. I don’t understand why there was a $10.40 service charge for a to-go order. While I was waiting for my food, a rat came into the restaurant, scurried around, and then ran back outside. It seemed to have come from the pile of garbage right in front of the restaurant. The man who was cleaning the windows and tables saw the rat, looked at my sister and me, and smiled. Unfortunately, he was sweating a lot and had a terrible smell, which made the whole place unpleasant. This used to be one of my favorite spots for achieke and lamb db, but every time I go back, I’m reminded of why I should avoid unhygien...
La Savane has a new team that is fantastic. They are friendly, courteous, and professional. The overall atmosphere is convivial and enjoyable. The place is clean all the way to the restroom. Anyone can access the place. The food is excellent and well served. Great job! Please keep up the good work.Kid-friendliness: The kids are welcomed and they have kids menu. It was not available during my dine-in, but the recommended an alternative that my son enjoyed.Wheelchair accessibility: This place is wheelchair accessible. The table arrangement allows for wheelchair accommodations.
Be careful if their fee scam. They scammed me when they brought the check. They added a 20% service charge and said it's because I had four people, and they added a 3.5% fee for using my credit card. These fees were not listed on their menu, and they did not advise me of these fees prior to ordering. When I spoke to the manager afterwards she said she has to update the menu. It's just a scam to get more money. I would advise you to choose a different restaurant operated by honest people
Food was excellent, really left nothing to be desired it was very good. The prices are reasonable considering the very large portion sizes, each entree could have easily fed two people. The owner was very attentive and kind, noticed we were not very familiar with the food and stepped in to offer suggestions and show us what was what. Really made us feel welcome!

A pleasant little restaurant, clean and spacious, and family-friendly.Wait staff accommodating, and even with limited English-speaking are able to present the menu and options; they weren't obtrusive.The food was different, where the okra and lamb stew with plantain fufu was a mixture of tangy and sweet, and were large portions, filling.
I went for the experience of trying FuFu. I was told trust me and I will give you the best. Did not realize it would be okra related and I only eat fried okra buuuuut I was NOT disappointed at all. I enjoyed the flavors and will have it again were I live.Food: 5/5
Terrible experience—don't waste your money! I ordered a lamb chop dish but received something entirely different. I took just one bite and left. I'm very disappointed, and don't expect them to care about whether customers enjoy their food.
Very disappointed with this restaurant, staff fighting in the Kitchen with a lot of noise. Food taking over 45nm to come out. One server cleaning and serving food. VERY Bad dinning experience.
