The service was excellent! Igor our server and all the other help were in the ball. We had a nice long table with heaters, except the people in the ends were freezing! Our fault I suppose, but none of us thought we'd be sitting outside in the cold. We were also quite shellshocked by the price... It was about $2000 for our family of 15 to eat here. Pretty outrageous honestly, especially with Italian food which imo is easy and cheaply served because its mostly pasta. But regardless we had a nice time. We're not rich tho so probably never going back. Prices should not have been so high.
We hosted our rehearsal dinner on the back terrace of La Spiga (about 50 guests). The experience was absolutely amazing, the sunset was over stunning, the heat bulbs have made their job to keep us all comfortable as it cooled, the service was impressive in every way (damping cocktails up for individuals as people arrived/got sitting, and the food WAS incredible (we decided for the $90 a person option and it was a good amount of food! Thank you La Spiga Team!
I would call this Italian restaurant in Palm Desert. The ambience and decor reflect an upscale culinary experience, but the outdoor terrace creates the quintessentially relaxed desert evening dining experience. Sports coats not needed. All Entrees were excellent and Caviar is the perfect way to celebrate every milestone. The branzino finocchio was definitely a highlight. It's a top 10 in the desert, just bring a thick wallet.
