We celebrated our 40th wedding anniversary and our 60th anniversary in this restaurant with a few friends. Julien created a personalized and tasty menu just for our table and everything went perfectly, despite other customers to serve. We were also very well advised in the choice of drinks. A general enthusiasm of our guests for all the dishes served as well as for the tastes, the cooking, the presentations. Special mention for the scallops and its black garlic jus and its lemon St Honoré, the finishing touches of which took place before our admiring eyes. What happiness! This new small restaurant in a quiet square just off of the main pedestrian mall is quite a gem. We tried the fish dish of the day and the chef's gastro version of paella. Both were excellent and beautifully presented with amazing attention to detail. We even ordered a side of French fries when we saw the waiter walk by with an order and found out they were freshly cut and homemade... they were perfect. The desserts were also homemade and very tasty. I got the craquelin dessert made with locally grown peanuts. My husband got the baba pastry with fresh fruit and armagnac. He said it was the best baba he's ever had. Such high quality, fresh and tasty food takes a bit longer, but is well worth...
Such a great place. Very pro service explaining everything as needed, letting us taste two different wines in order to decide whether we preferred one or another together with our choice. Food was pretty good, highlighting the grilled shrimps (3 of them) with an aubergine base and the duck magret which was outstanding. Perfect veggie cooked accompanied it plus a sweet and salty mix of tomatoes and berries. Strongly recommend them both The price of the menu was 46 eur bcuz of being a national holiday.
