La Tarte Tropezienne

Ah, the famous Tropezian pie! Delight both vanity by friends or colleagues. Being on holiday in Cavalaire sur Mer we went to the Tarte Tropézienne bakery or we chose two. Oh, my God! The biscuit is dry and the cream is insipid!! We had taken a classic and a lemon and really no difference of taste, the rest ended in the trash. We renewed the experience a few days later at the small shop in Ramatuelle, a little better at the level of the softer biscuit but the cream even without flavor. Frankly if this is the Tropezian Tarte... it is a purely industrial product. We may see in a traditional bakery so that we don't end up foolish

Buy a Tropezian pie in the morning, disappointment as hard biscuit and pasty cream, cake not fresh but of the day before. Habited to come during our passages in the region buy 2 parts of tropezienne, what disappointment the cream is no longer as smooth or creamy as in previous years, the brioche remains correct but the whole is not up! Change of the recipe, lower costs, or just no luck? In any case the pleasure of tasting is no longer at the rendezvous!

Since the start of my vacation I have been coming to this Tropezian tart. Very warm and smiling welcome from Damien and Walid, it’s a great pleasure!! Simply leaving with the aim of buying a few pastries for breakfast, I left with several desserts for the evening dinner with the family. Thank you for the advice and sympathy of the kind young saleswoman with blue eyes. Perfect. I will come back with pleasure during my fortnight of vacation!

We were very disappointed with the tarte tropézienne. It had an industrial taste, for the price it's not worth it. Other bakeries in Croix Valmer offer much better Tropezian tarts! However, impeccable service.

Cakes are wonderful but pastries and bread over cooked we have been several times this week due to this being our local location and this has sadly always been the case.

Pass your way if you want to eat a good tropezian... Compact and tasteless cream, we threw the 4 parts.... Honteux to sell so expensive and so bad...
