Listen, Linda. This is the best Mexican restaurant you will find in this town. I got the birria plate. It wasn't what I expected but it was absolutely amazing I added a side order of charro beans Lord!! *Chefs kisses* the rice is just like homemade rice!! I have not been to a restaurant in this area or surrounding areas that have rice that tastes like rice from home. I usually never eat the rice at any Mexican restaurant bc it's just not like homemade rice but this one!!! Yessssssss!! We went at a very slow time of day, which was great. Our waiter was fantastic. He refilled my tea without me asking he never interrupted mine my husband's conversation to ask about anything. He would just check...
La Tequila Jalisco is all in all a really good restaurant. The service is very good: friendly, quick and professional. Atmosphere was given due to the music and the TV’s playing and the food is a lot for the price and even keeps its taste the day after when reheating leftovers. The only negative point I have to address is the male bathroom, which could be cleaner. Honorable mention: The waitress Fatima. Very sweet young lady who contributed to the good atmosphere in the restaurant.
Excellent Mexican cuisine, fantastic service, and affordable prices—what more could you want? We enjoyed the beef enchilada plates with queso, which were delicious. As I'm trying to follow a low-carb diet, I appreciated that they substituted mixed vegetables for the beans and rice. They also served chips and salsa. The service was very attentive. If you're craving Mexican food and are in the area, I highly recommend giving them a try!
This place is a great Mexican restaurant! Their salsa was my favorite restaurant salsa I?ve had in a while and their soups are amazing! I had the shrimp soup and the shrimp were thoroughly cleaned and the soup was spicy, just how I like it. I also had themini tacos with pastor meat, and they were perfectly cooked. We came here on a recommendation and it did not disappoint. Excellent chips and Salsa, guacamole was large enough for a table and had a fantastic taste. It came with two additional salsa that paired well. We order Plato Birria and quesa birria. Both were delicious and seasoned well. The service had an excellent cadence and perfectly timed, and the food was delivered very quickly. We will definitely come back in future visits.
The staff was incredibly friendly, even late at night. We arrived around 30 minutes before closing, craving some delicious Mexican food after a wine tour, and were warmly welcomed. I ordered the Gorditas, while my husband had the fajitas. My only complaint was that the tortillas for the fajitas weren't homemade, but the corn gordita was, which definitely balanced things out!
We had an incredible experience, enjoying excellent service and delicious food! The staff treated us like family, and the dishes were fantastic. There were some fresh options that I don't typically find in the Midwest. The steak was outstanding, with amazing flavor. We'll definitely be back. This is the first location started by the family, and it's truly remarkable!
