Good if you want an afternoon tea. Served in beautiful bones China cups added to the experience. Scones nice. Napkins for cream and scorpions would have been nice, but everything was very delicious. I am not sure why it is necessary to fill in a menu and submit it at the place, as it would be more personal to be served at the table. I never had to submit a menu choice on a questionnaire, but everyone on their own. Take that away and be perfect. Go back.
We always bring friends here for the wonderful coffee tea and cakes. Our personal favourite are the scones and caramel slice! Friendly service from Kim the owner a welcoming smile and great comfy sofas always entice us to stay longer than planned. In summer the...terrace has stunning views and we were lucky to catch one of the Sunday soirée concerts so music as well!
called in for a sit down and cup to tea after visiting local points of interest in the town, was pleasantly surprised by the lovely setting and decor. Proprietor pleasant and welcoming, found out on leaving that her family lived near our home in Wales....Will call again.

Le café est très agréable, les gâteaux sont délicieux et les prix sont plus qu' attractifs ! La vendeuse est également très agréable, c'est un véritable plaisir.
Called in to meet up with friend in Monty and always great to catch up over beers or coffee and cakes. Super variety and will be back next week
Atypical place. Still hot. Beautiful terrace. Simple service without chichi. You have to test the sofas and the frame so British inside.
