La Tienda Mexicana Las Isabelas

I have had the pleasure of eating at many authentic Mexican restaurants and I can hands down say this is the best place I've had Mexican food in hickory hands down!! 10/10 would recommend and the people are so nice and inviting. Has inside and outside(covered in case of rain) seating! It's also a meat market and a store if you're interested in that too!

Do you love authentic tacos? If so, this is your spot. Simple, delicious food. The location isn’t much to look at but most of the best places I’ve ever eaten were little hole in the wall type spots. This is no different. Good, hard working people cooking great food and bringing culture to a sleepy southern town. Give them your dollars. ????

This is the closest to back home style (Baja California border) food I've had east of New Mexico. The folks are friendly and the food is delicious. Vegetarian and vegan options available. There's a nice market inside for hard-to-find Latin American foods.

This is a hidden gem! Authentic Mexican! Incredible taste, service, quality price. The best Mexican that I’ve ever had. It’s so great that I drive almost 90 min to eat there!

Excellent food. If you’re a person that appreciates detail to flavor as opposed…most everywhere. Folks the food is amazing.
