We had the privilege of staying in this little well-known paradise surrounded by forest, it is always a pleasure to come back to completely disconnect us, and to be able to admire, exhibitions of works even to be able to walk in the pleasant and beautiful garden and there also to discover them with messages that speak to us. the menu is always well studied, with these small refined dishes, carefully concocted by the chief ankara chay, the professionalism of the employees is a plus, this moment of pleasure has been well shared in excellent company, an unforgettable birthday, thanks to the wave of saint paul.
We were staying at the hotel La Vague de Saint-Paul for a few days and decided to try the resturant; normally we tend to avoid the restaurants of the hotels, but this time we did not regret the choice and indeed we had dinner twice au Jardin de la Vague. The menu-a-la-carte is a quite expensive, but for the hotel guests the restaurant offers set menus of 3-4-5 dishes at reasonable prices (39-49-69 Euro); the selction of wines is also very wide. All the dishes we have tried were delicious and original; satisfying the taste and the eye. Definitely an experience to be recommended.
My friend's barracuda was good but only enough sauce for half of the serving leaving a very dry remaining portion. My St Pierre was good, but overcooked ant the sauces were good but no vegetables or rice to add interest. The raspberry dessert was dry and the citron ice was miniscule. Saddest of all was a request for a glass of dry white wine. Quoted a price of $15 euro for the glass but when did the restaurant decide that a 2 ounce pour was adequate? No apology- just a shrug!
We dined here as part of their half board package. Excellent value with a full three course selection from the a la carte menu. The chef is Thai/Cambodian and executes well crafted dishes with Asian flavours. I had foie gras with Timut peppers and a dashi broth followed by sea bass roasted in a wood oven. Both were delicious. A short well crafted wine list featuring local wines mainly. Staff are friendly and knowledgeable. An overall pleasant experience.

A great hotel in a quiet location a little away from the village of St Paul. Easy to park. The rooms are renovated with beautiful services and a champion breakfast! Thanks again to Sophie for her attention to us.
A nice place to calm. We made a business meeting. Perfect home in large and beautiful rooms. The pool is also very harmonious, just like the gardens.The breakfast is simple and good.
