Been visiting the Holly place for years, last decade, pretty much whenever I visit the area. Not to be missed, as it 's the closest you gonna get to Italian home cooked meals, outside of Italy. The main 'problem ' you might face is which meal to pick that particular evening, as all are absolutely delicious, or perhaps you feel just somewhat cowardly and going to stick to the proven, over the years, favorites... that 's a great dilemma to have and I warmly recommend putting oneself in that position, if not already done so...buon appetito!
I have been enjoying consistently delicious food from Lavecchia for over 20 years! They know how to do it right and I'm glad that they never tried to fix something that wasn't broken like many of the other restaurants that closed down in the neighborhood! The food is absolutely delectable and never disappoints. It's a fun place to go with friends or couples to socialize and have fun.
We just had a great dinner at La Vecchia Cucina. The host always is so personal and sat us right away in a quiet area of the restaurant. The menu is very extensive with alot of choices . We had such great food and service each time that we dine there that keeps us coming back . The lasagna and the pastas and desserts are excellent . Great wine list too .
My wife and I are NY Italians and VERY picky. La Vecchi Cucina is the best of the best. We discovered them when we lived in the neighborhood several years ago. Since then we have moved a half hour away...and still travel at least once a week to eat there!!

Can't say enough about La Vecchia Cucina. Has been a favorite for my wife and I for 20 years. It continues to keep its quality and taste. Although we moved out of the area, we look forward to coming into town just to dine here. Thank you Mark and Team!
The waiter, was very rude and didnt let me use the restroom after buying a whole plate of good thinking that i didnt buy anything there! so i told him to act like a man whos wearing a suit when hes dressed like it.
