I absolutely love the gourmet white cake! It's clear (and delicious) that it brings a unique touch to the food scene in DC. The only reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 is that the quality of the pizza can vary from one order to another. I understand that the chef (or pizza MASTER) can't be there every hour the restaurant is open, but consistency is key. Anyone filling in for the pizza chef should spend a day learning all of his techniques, as that is what typically sets the restaurant apart.
The pizza is perfectly seasoned, featuring fresh mozzarella, basil, and tomato sauce on a thin crust. Absolutely delicious! I was thrilled to discover that they don’t serve pork, which is a big plus for me! This is one of the reasons I gave 5 stars, but honestly, the food here is incredibly fresh and tasty!
Excellent pizza selection! We ordered delivery in the South and found that delivery times can take up to 45 minutes. However, if you request a quicker service, they're usually able to accommodate you.
