The ambience is pleasant and the staff is friendly, however, the food is subpar. I typically avoid leaving negative reviews, but I feel compelled to do so for this restaurant. The dishes were lacking in flavor and seemed to be reheated from canned or jarred ingredients. We ordered the enchilada and tamale plate, as well as two additional enchiladas with mole sauce. The tamale was dry and the chicken was bland. The enchiladas were smothered in sauce and cheese, but the mole was especially disappointing. We only managed to eat the rice and refried beans because we were hungry. Overall, it was a letdown. I'm not sure how they have received five-star reviews, but if you're looking for authentic...

The taco experience at this restaurant was pretty amazing. They have a large menu, spacious and welcoming atmosphere, and a hip vibe. They also have a full bar and a variety of house-made hot sauces. I tried the mahi mahi tacos with a side of guacamole and rice and beans. The tacos were huge with lots of fried fish, so much so that I almost regretted getting the rice and beans for an extra $4. The guacamole was flavorful with a strong lemony taste. The fish was hearty and meaty, reminding me of chicken as a pescatarian. My coworker had the beef tacos and said they were moist and delicious. Ate here with our Northern family, vegetarians with toddler twins and a vivacious 8 year old. Table set-up was spacious to accomodate my exceptionally-abled adult daughter with a walker to cruise easily about. The food was excellent, reasonably priced, with a barage of options. Food is ordered at the kitchen and you 're called for pick up, soon after preparation. You 're encouraged to bus your own tables...but our added effort was reflected in food cost. The presentation of each offering was plated to reflect that of an upscale restaurant. Kudos to the chef!!

I prefer this location over the one in Northampton. I recommend getting the carne asada (steak) burrito as it is superior to the chicken or bean options. The prices are reasonable and the service is quick when they are not busy. You can choose your own seat and they will bring your order to you. They also offer delicious salsas and sides. If you prefer not to street park, you can park in the Walgreens plaza next to the subway. This is my favorite Mexican restaurant in the area, surpassing Bueno and El Camolito. The best thing about my last meal at the restaurant was the rice. Unfortunately, the chicken mole I ordered was poorly made with no care put into the sauce or the refried beans. The chicken was dry and tough, definitely not worth the price I paid for it.

Just got take out, but wow what an amazing meal! We will be returning to dine in and get some drinks, too. Martin's fish tacos are fresh and crispy, the pork pupusas are just heaven.
