La Villa - Reservar una mesa

Friendly staff speak good English . We chose the menu du jour €22 for 3 corses . I had warm goats cheese in filo parcels and my husband had poached egg very fresh on a carrot purée wit a delicate cream sauce . For mains we both had perfectly cooked calves liver pink with tasty mash potato quennels . To finish homemade chocolate sponge with melting chocolate in the centre and crème anglais. 1/2 litre of excellent local white touraine wine €15 . All good value except the tapas we had with our drinks which were nice enough but not for €9 ! All in all a pleasant experience in the lovely old town of Montrichard.

We ate here last week on our first night in Montrichard on a sunny July evening. Excellent alfresco eating with a bottle of Pyros a very good local red. We both went for burgers which were first class as was the service and staff. We returned later in the week for late drinks

We sat down at seven on a warm and busy evening. The staff looked after us and we had our drinks and food in good time. The choice of menu is very good and the food was very well cooked and the plates were ample. I can not fault any of the evening.

We visited ls Villa in July on a very hot day.We enjoyed our lunch and met the friendly efficient new owner.Excellent food chilled water and great service.We definitely recommend this restaurant

Friendly quick service, delicious fresh salads which are very generous. A real find in the centre of Montrichard . We would be back for dinner if we did not have to head home.
