Nestled away from the bustling tourist spots, this cafe/bar is a sanctuary with its tree-lined views overlooking the Basilique Saint-Sauveur. The fare might be simple, but it complements the scene perfectly. Definitely worth a visit if you’re looking to escape the crowds and enjoy quality coffee.
Un concept économique et très bon ! Les enfants (3-5-10ans) ont pris croque monsieur, jacked potatoe et tartine et se sont régalé ! Ma salade harengs pomme de terre était parfaite ainsi que la salade chèvre chaud du papa. 40€ pour toute la famille, dans un cadre très agréable, en terrasse au calme sur une petite place. Accueil très serviable et service assez rapide.
Restaurant that doesn't look like much. Yet when you step inside, it's small but charming. The welcome is friendly. The map is simple. We ate very well. A potato, with ham, cream and Emmental cheese inside, served with a small salad.... Delicious! Other recipes are to be discovered. For dessert, a lemon tart with little whipped cream. Just a delight! I recommend.
A good location, right on a market square. I had absinthe at L'absinthe -- how could one NOT do that? I've heard all the stories of the different ways people prepare absinthe. I had mine without sugar, with a bit of ice. Chased it with a dash of Lancelot -- again, we were in Brittany, so Lancelot felt required, really. Our waiter was very attentive and helpful. Des salades composées fraiches et variées pour moins de huit euros. Des préparations 100% maison. La terrasse est ombragée et calme. Le tout pour un excellent rapport qualité prix. Nous recommandons pour une pause de qualité avec un bel accueil.
