We arrived in this village after more than 9.00 am on GR 20. And there we were entitled to a 5-star welcome from the family. The restaurant was still closed, but the owner's brother opened us to unwind. Then we returned to eat after we were installed in the cottage. The welcome was again fantastic and say dishes .... just excellent !!!! Finally of the real Corsica charcuterie produced by the family, a real delight. Then the main dish that puts you back to any hiker. Better than home! And to finish coffee with small alcohol offered from the region, frankly difficult, see impossible to do better. The whole having been able to exchange a lot of discussion on the region with dozens of anecdotes,...
After a renunciation of the GR20 between the onda refuge and that of Pietra Piana. We descended to the west side of the Caracutu valley to the village of Guagnu.Arrived to this beautiful remote village in the Corsica mountains. We were warmly welcomed by the owners of the restaurant l'Affacata. We shared the aero with them and then they concocted us a delicious supper. We spent a wonderful time filled with generosity, exchange and sympathy. I would almost say that the GR20 should be diverted and the route passed by this small village. Because between the reception of the GR refuges and that of the Guagno restaurant, it is day and night.A thousand thanks and good continuation.
Sublime! Arrived by chance (descendus of GR20), we were greeted with extreme kindness. I'm difficult in terms of restaurant and here, frankly, everything is perfect! Quality of products and cuisine, top! (Let's be with sausage and fig for me, hamburger corse for my companion) perfect wine! service and kindness (the myth of the little house, shared, at the end of meals). reasonable price!
