L'affacata - Reserva de mesa

After a GR20 derogation between the wave refuge and Pietra Piana. We descend on the west side of the Caracutu valley to the village of Guagnu. Arrived at this beautiful isolated village in the Corsican mountains. We were warmly welcomed by the owners of the Affacata restaurant. We shared the aperitif with them and then they offered us a delicious dinner. We spent a wonderful moment filled with generosity, exchange and sympathy. We arrived in this village after more than 9.00 am on GR 20. And there we were entitled to a 5-star welcome from the family. The restaurant was still closed, but the owner's brother opened us to unwind. Then we returned to eat after we were installed in the cottage. The welcome was again fantastic and say dishes .... just excellent !!!! Finally of the real Corsica charcuterie produced by the family, a real delight. Then the main dish that puts you back to any hiker. Better than home! And to finish coffee with small alcohol offered from the region, frankly difficult, see impossible to do better. Sublime! Arrived by chance (descendant of GR20), we were welcomed with great goodness. I'm difficult in terms of restaurant and here, frankly, everything is perfect!
