We had our last dinner in Valmorel at l’Aigle Blanc and ate from the carte du jour (rather than the Savoyard specialties). What a surprise to be served such exquisite, fine cuisine in such an unassuming place. We sampled different dishes and all were...refined and served with creative and seasonal accompaniments. My dish of ‘quasi de veau’ was cooked to pink perfection and served with the best morel-cream sauce I’ve ever tasted. The home-made deserts were divine, served with great attention to detail. The service was attentive and friendly, and we loved the resident cat Amazing value for money. Would def. recommend.
Staff are very friendly and the food is great. Although my French is very little and their English isn't great they made an effort to explain every dish that was available. If you fancy a walk through yhe mountains and then have a break there,...I would recommend the night walk. The restaurant is near a bus stop or can also pick you up for free.
hidden in the forest (accessible by car shuttle and forest road) the white eagle continues its flight, on the basis of an enchanting setting, a warm and discreet service, a map of simple and fresh products (artisans and local producers) arranged with a great finesse, a lot of creativity and a search for admirable tastes
This tiny restaurant was the venue for a group of in early January. The food was excellent I definitely recommend the cote de boeuf and the duck stuffed with morel mushrooms and foie gras. Friendly staff, easy to reach from Valmorel on the...free shuttle bus, all in all a great evening.

that fresh products, a sought-after kitchen with flavors at each bite, a real treat!!! thanks to the cook who has a real gift....Jolie sun terrace in the middle of the fir trees at half an hour of easy hike from valmorel (return possible to free shuttle). Anyway, run, it's perfect!
very pleasant restaurant, easily accessible on foot from valmorel and for the less courageous by car. The kitchen is good and well done.Averageable day menu or possibility to order on the map. salads are good and copyy and allow to end up a pleasant desert.Think to book.
always a pleasure to reach the end of the road from valmorel and to stop at the white eagle. homemade dishes and regional products are served on the covered terrace with a splendid view of the mountains and teeth of the lauziere
i love the location at the end of the street... walking under the moon light! very warm place, nice food, local plates and amazing deserts!

Great menu and super desserts!! Quality of the food is one of the best in all of Valmorel. Tomato/bacon fondue is also recommended.
