Being on holiday in the area for the first time, I really wanted a good fish and chips lunch meal. What an absolute treat my husband and I shared the mussel starter (portion was so big we thought it was the main) and then had the fish chips. WOW! Best fish and chips we have had in the UK. Added bonus was the view during lunch. I highly recommend this restaurant. 5 stars from me
Delicious meal… Having a bad holiday, bad weather BUT we have just found this lovely restaurant with a lakeside view. Whole plaice topped with prawns cooked in white wine sauce and a sea food platter cod, king prawn, calamari, whitebait, scampi and dips. Nice view, nice staff, nice food! Cheered us up loads.
After a day spent visiting the RNLI HQ, 4 of us had a fabulous sit-down meal tonight! Best scampi I've ever had, rich and creamy homemade tartare sauce was divine, huge portions, lovely welcoming staff, delicious homemade bread and butter pudding too! A lovely experience and would definitely recommend!
Had mussels in a sauce that had me brother fighting with spoons, then 'cod chips , followed by apple pie ice-cream and a coffee 'absolutely excellent with a view over holes bay , a must place to dine in Dorset Reserva una mesa ahora
Smart fish and chop restaurant and more. Not just battered cod haddock; but also plaice, Ray wings, grilled and served with sauce. All beautifully cooked. Lovely views of Holes Bay too
Not much of a fan of fish and chipsBut when in U.K., it is a must. And this is an excellent place to visit, and at lunch they have a terrific offer.
Amazing place! I visit this restaurant and takeaway all the time for both purposesIt is one of the best chip shops and restaurants in Dorset.
