We rented.n apartment close to this restaurant . Since it was Sunday evening very few places to eat. Owner of aptartment recommended this restaurant as good food, fair price. 5of use went to an early dinner thanks to the owner of L'Albizzia. Limited menus on chalk board. Had a choice of Foie Gras or oysters as a starter. 3Foie Gras/ 2 oysters (8 on each). The Foie Gras was homemade, excellent, and enough for 6!!. Main course was cassoulet or Lasagna. 5 cassoulet. Again homemade, lots of duck and sausage and superb flavor. 3 pitchers (50c each) of house Rose. Homemade apple tart for dessert. Again great. We'd been here before and it was good basic French rural cooking, but after a wander round the village Vide Grenier, it was about time for lunch and we went in with reasonable expectations. We were offered the choice of only boeuf bourguignon, which was, admittedly good, but my wife does not eat beef, and was offered instead a piece of breadcrumbed fish, fresh from the freezer. No starter nor dessert was offered, but the price, 18€ per head, was what one would expect to pay in the vicinity for three courses. We will not be going there again.

Don't be put off by the lack of plush seats and fancy tablecloths - just relish the great food and friendly service.Add to this a very reasonable cost for what is truly French country cooking at its very best.The Cassoulet is cooked to a local recipe and is just the best Cassoulet you will ever have.This is the REAL France at its unpretentious best.

De retour d'une balade en VTT nous nous arrêtons pour boire une bonne bière... et oh surprise il n'y a pas que la bière qui est bonne... accueil super, a l'ancienne le patron nous propose un cassoulet qui s'avère excellent.Nous mangeons à sa table... un super moment, nous reviendrons !!
Si vous cherchez l'authenticité, vous frappez à la bonne porte.Cuisine du terroir, la patronne aux fourneaux, le patron au bar et aux tables.Ce qui n'est pas négligeable c'est le petit hôtel faisant partie du même établissement.
