But this was just so classically Austrian, a complete contrast to the other side of the German border, just away....After miles fast driving from UK on motorways, we wanted to pull off and finish on some smaller roads, so came off the first exit after entering Austria. Needing fuel, we pulled into an ordinary looking, glass/steel outside, petrol station, to find this experience! Diesel at a price less than Germany, and less than anywhere else we passed nearby in Austria (or indeed France). Just a couple of minutes detour from the main road border crossing between Germany and Austria. The Land Lebt Auf offers a combination of restaurant, grocery shop and petrol station. In contrast to the main road where such places are mostly run by big...international corporation, this place has the atmosphere of the family business. In fact it is also a part of the chain run by a bigger company supporting the local competence and independence, while maintaining quality standards. The fuel prices are much lower than on the Also the prices in shop are much lower, though still above the average shop level. The restaurant is not very big, I have not tried the food.
Ansicht super Konzept.Land Lebt auf.Gut sortiert,Preise moderat ,Gute Auswahl an Essen zu go.Nur die Freundlichkeit lässt einen faden Beigeschmack.Einmal kann es passieren doch wenn ständig unfreundliches Personal bedient ,wo man das Gefühl hat,zu stören .Dann geht man lieber woanders hin.Schade die Betreiber sind sehr nett .Vielleicht sollte man die Damen nicht alle auf Kundenfreundlichkeit schulen.
Ich komme dort 2x im Jahr vorbei und ist für mich ein Fixpunkt, wenn ich eine Rast einlege. Gutes Essen, sehr freundliches Personal und sehr nettes Ambiente. Preis/Leistung ist völlig in Ordnung. Ist auch eine schöne Gegend.

Gute Einkaufsmöglichkeiten im dazugehörigen Tankstellenshop. Große Auswahl und freundliches Personal. Die warmen Speisen in der Theke sehen auch sehr ansprechend aus. Preise sind ok.
Günstige Tankstelle nach bzw vor der Grenze mit einem riesigen Shop Angebot und einer sehr guten Leberkässemmel . Mein nächster Stop kommt in kürze
Günstig Benzinpreise für nur 3km von der Autobahn entfernt. Dazu ein nettes Geschäft und Restaurant. Perfekt für eine Pause
