I had chosen this inn on the Internet in advance, with the extremely positive assessment by Mrs Lavandula, of course, playing a role. At the entrance we noticed some people at the footsteps of the guest room, which were in quite a volume above football. We took place at the reserved table, almost all the length of the guest room separated from the vault, and received the menus quickly from a young service. The program includes German bourgeois cuisine, the map can be viewed on the homepage of the house: [here link] After a very short time, we had found courts and tried to talk about it. However, we could hardly understand our own words of the loud entertainment at the tresen, the sounding laughter scattered over and over. During the order intake we asked for another place in the house, which the service could not offer us. Finally, we decided to have a table in the outside area and changed there. After the confirmation by the operator that the Spätzle themselves were made, Madame ordered “Kalbsgeschnetzeltes Züricher Art mit Spätzle, also mixed salad” (12.90 € , I chose the “Teuteberg-Pfanne, Schnitzel mit Röstzwiebeln, Speck und Spiegelei, plus roast potatoes and mixed salad plate” (11.80 €). As a first gear, we chose a single white seed soup (3,80 € . Menu Madame ordered a mineral water without carbonic acid (0,25l for 1,50 € , I a non-alcoholic yeast beer (0.5l for 3,30 €). The drinks were served after a short time by the young service, the yeast white beer was well gifted and proved to be well cooled. The mineral water was served in an already opened bottle, with a glass next to it. Madame surrendered and took a first sip, then said: “The water is warm!” After a test handle on the bottle, I estimated the temperature at about 20 °C, Madame determined it on handwarm. Since, of course, no other bottle was cooled due to the policy of the house, it then spread to water with carbonic acid (Classic), which was then brought shortly after, with likewise already opened bottle. Little later, the boss himself brought our food and desired “good appetite!” The plate with the Zurich sprinklers was completely covered with Spätzle, which also looked really self-made, then the sprinkler without mushrooms with a stick of sweet cream in the middle – greet the seventies. I got an empty plate and an iron pan on a wooden board, in it roast potatoes, roast onions and a carving that was covered by a mirror egg. In the second course, the boss brought the two associated salad plates, richly filled with white herb and carrot rasps, leaf salads and two quarter eggs. In the middle a **** yogurt dressed. Teuteberg-Pfanne I filled myself out of the pan on the plate and just wanted to start eating when Madame, who had already taken the first bites into his mouth, called out: “This is completely salted!” She asked me to try, and also for my taste the sauce was very salty. She pushed the plate to the side and was only busy with the salad. I had no problems with my food, the scavenger was fine, the bacon was fried, and there was nothing to put out on the roast onions and the roast potatoes. Shortly afterwards, the young service came to our table and asked if everything was fine. Madame pointed to the salted food and said that she could take it right back, she won't eat it any more. Operation took the plate and disappeared in the house. As hardly to be expected, the boss came to our table shortly afterwards and explained in snippy tone, she looked on the internet because of the mineral water, it should be served at 14 °C and that is exactly the temperature in the basement of the house. In addition, she tried the food, it was only a little spicy. But whether the house could provide something else for Madame, “although the house could not satisfy her today.” Madame refused. After eating my food, I asked for the bill and paid. The boss wanted us a more pleasant evening. Afterward we found on the Internet that mineral water should be served without carbon dioxide at 10 – 14°C, and this temperature was clearly exceeded by the initially served water. In addition, mineral water must be brought to the table in a closed bottle, and in this regard it was clearly violated twice in this House. In any case, we found the chief's assassination, who, with her righteous way, wanted to teach her guests in several ways and iron out her complaints. The word “excuse me” seems not to happen in her vocabulary, at least this house will not see us again.
