who visits so-called Greek restaurants in Germany knows what awaits him: meat plates athen, zorbas and similar non-Greek specialties. so my claims were not high when we visited the restaurant kovelenberg. the reception was friendly, the ordered table stood ready for 9 people in the outside area. the ordered rosé wine for € 7/0.5 liter sweet and tasty, perhaps a trace too warm. the mixed appetizers really delicious, plentiful and - I am amazed - equipped with genuine Greek dressings: tarama, skordalia, chtipiti, saganaki etc. the main dishes were unfortunately of rather average quality, my suflakia of swarm, lamb and pute mostly tough, the rice grainy and edible ordered for this purpose. over...
to the appetizer I had skordalia (knoblauchpürree) and saganaki (baked cheese). the cheese was ok, the skordalia was a cheerful! completely dry and after nothing tastes. also to my answer that the skordalia was among all, was only reacted with an anxious....As a main dish I had moussaka, our friends a grill plate (berg of dry, overbowing meat), my man had a spit with the unspeakable kartoffel chips, laff and labsy!To make it short again - even while we were pregnant! I can't understand anyone who's still going there. Besides the waiters, there is no smell, neither owner nor cook!
we were in a Friday evening here, a reservation is recommended, as the restaurant fills very quickly.The greeting was friendly and also the drinks requests were asked at short notice and incl. a ouzo at the cost of the house was brought to the table.In order to order the main dishes we concentrated on the well-known classics of the house (gyros with tzröaziki or with Metaxas were always served very fast. For me still the best grieche in solingen, even if the gas room could carry a little more money, here you can see some signs of wear.
because of a birthday with 10 people to eat there. the ouzo who is otherwise given at the beginning was missing. the salate was not fresh and the vinigrette was a catastrophe. the main courts did not come at the same time and were lacking in quality. spit tough and greasy. overwrought the cardiovascular discs. it seemed like working here only with ready-made layers. also the gyros was dry and almost not pourable.

come here every summer 2-3 times on beautiful summer evenings because the restaurant is so great on the forest. my reservation has been forgotten and overall the service there is more scarf, at least to unknown. the food is me lower average, meat often dry. but you can eat everything well, it tastes and you sit nicely, especially on the upper terrace.
beautifully located farmhouse between solingen and helpers, inside well maintained, romantic outdoor gassing, good Greek eating to cheap trips, good open wines.Very nice service, characterful chef with good talks at the retsina, to the conclusion for everyone hos a good ouzo,
this restaurant listens to the best in Europe and worldwide. in the foods offered, I have repeatedly, despite their diversity, the impression that the foods would be prepared individually for me. but this is also known for all demanding, even remote guests.
the service and ease has suffered greatly, eating has become less, but still sufficient. the toilets are necessary from the 60 years and renovation. after eating it seems: please place for new guests, wait 15 min for a drink and then get nothing more.

beautifully situated (near ohligser heide) Greek restaurant with large beer garden. a large menu leaves no wish open. the dishes are very good and the staff extremely friendly. a visit is always worth it!
