After setting up our tent at Camping Hobby (just down the road), we were tired and hungry. It was getting late on a Sunday evening so there is little open, particularly as we didn't want to drive. So in the rain we walked to this hotel, on face value it looked like quite an upmarket restaurant, given that we looked like drowned rats we cautiously entered and asked if they had a bar area, they showed us to the bar area but offered a table within the restaurant. We like the cosy style of the bar so parked there and enjoyed some beers, the staff suggesed that if we were really hungry they could offer us the snack menu (not normally available) so we picked a dish from there each. Owners of the hotel and its restaurant are Italians, so the specialty is home made pasta. Another local touch in the menu - fish of the day, without indication of the fish and price: you never know what you'll pull out of the lake. It looks like menu is being updated depending on season: we were in Easter, and there was asparagus almost everywhere.Prices are quite OK for Switzerland, and service is good as well.Breakfasts are great, with a lot of choice of delicious things. A couple of flies were pretty nasty, however.

Had dinner one evening of our stay and as with the breakfast choices, the food was top notch. Prices may put you off from having a few courses unless you are hungry.We were satisfied with the country bread, a salad, the fish and a scrumptious dessert. Our waitress was dressed in traditional garb and was very pleasant .We sat alfresco as the weather was hot and even though you overlooked the car park the trees and meadows made the experience worthwhile.Enjoy your meal!

We went to the Golf Hotel after a nice biketour. It was sunday for lunch. Their was a nice welcome by the owner and later by the really nice waitress. The restaurant was full at noon time, food was excellent and fresh. You can choose between 2 daily specials or a la carte, which is great. Situated on Manor Farm Campsite but tucked away with views over the lake.We had a lovely reasonably priced evening meal 3 ad and 1 child was about £100 inc a couple of drinks each .my son is 10 and the children's portions were big enough for him. There was no rush and we spent a nice evening chatting before walking back to our mobile home .

We had a dinner at Landhotel Golf.. They possibly have authentic Swiss food but we found the food a little bland to our taste.. We ordered a main dish and a pasta.. The main dish was fairly bland.. The pasta was better but we found it to a little hard.. The service was courteous and the ambience is nice overall..

Biggest problem is the space - not enough table for all the guests.The staff tries its best but there are always things missing (egg, plates, cups, spoon, etc)The food itself is ok - typical Swiss - no surprise (whether good nor bad ones)

As my grandfather turned 85 our family decided to eat at the Landhotel Golf. We selected Chateaubriand for 16 person, it was a culinary delight! We would eat at Landhotel Golf any time again! Thank you very much for everything! Reserva una mesa ahora

We had a good dinner. The price range for normal one dish and one beverage is around 50 chf per person. The main street is a bit noisy. The parking is used as meeting place.

excellent menu and choices, great service, worth eating in! Everything is home-made and fresh. Service is always friendly and prompt.
