This little beer garden, with a nice view on the castle wall, offered 2 vegan dishes and 1 veggie dish (with ricotta and mozzarella) which is the reason I give 4 stars instead of 5. We had the fine Chinese noodle bowl, which was very fresh and tasty, and of course beer. The desert of the day was fortunately for us vegan: a pana coco that was delicious. The atmosphere was relaxed and the music good. The staff was friendly. I enjoyed my evening at this fine restaurant, which served a wide variety of German specialties. I really enjoyed my bratwurst and sauerkraut as well as the fabulous dessert we had at the end of the meal which was a selection of various sweets. This is a really interesting place with a history of over 150 years. Take a look at the brewery as well as the hotel and restaurant Decour. Very quaint.
We chose this place for dinner because the biergarten had an awesome play area for kids. We really appreciate places that do that. However, this is definitely just more of a pub/bar than a restaurant. There is a menu but it's mostly just pub food. Fried, cheese plate, ham plate, etc. The employees are really kind and sweet. We enjoyed our beers while the kids played.
