No one speaks English.. I asked for pepper steak with rice and beans. I got steak with no peppers and onions nor did I receive any rice and beans. Food is not worth the money a can of soda is $2.50. And they had their kids behind the counter picking them up while customers waited. I will never go back there again . The store next door Puerto Plata has way better food and they understand English their food prices reasonable . I DO NOT recommend this place at all ..

I Was Stuck On A Bus For An Extra 30 Minutes After It Had To Detour Because Of An Accident Then Another Detour Because Of Construction On The Van Wyck Expressway. I Had To Go To The Bathroom And Catch A Connecting Long Island Bus. I Saw 2 Restaurants. I Went Inside La Playita. I Explained To The 2 Ladies Behind The Counter,I Just Had To Pee And I Would Purchase A Soda. I Thanked The Ladies And Caught My Long Island Bus.

My spouse and I had a wonderful dining experience. The food was incredibly delicious and satisfying. A customer even serenaded us with some Spanish songs from the jukebox, which was delightful to hear. When I saw one of the songs in English, I couldn't help but smile. The waitress was friendly, and the prices were reasonable. It’s definitely ready for a post-COVID experience!
I visited this wonderful Salvadoran restaurant for the first time, and I was impressed! The food was outstanding, the service was attentive, and the location was fantastic. I will definitely be returning and highly recommend this place!
Noone speaks English..food very pricey.. Perfect example a canned pepsi is 2.50. And they got the order wrong ????.. Then hav the nerve to have a sign up that says no refunds or exchange ????
The food sucks big time, the rice tasted old and i called them and were very rude bc i thought the plates came a side of beans bc on ubereat it doesnt give me a choice to add beans Reserva una mesa ahora
I enjoyed both the food and the atmosphere at Lanueva Playita. There was a short wait, but it was definitely worth it.
