Lao Sze Chuan is a genuine Szechuan Chinese restaurant that serves fresh and well-prepared dishes with generous portions. Unlike typical tourist spots, the food here is not overloaded with heavy sauces. The chef pays close attention to customers' preferences and even came to our table to confirm ingredients. I have visited Chinatown numerous times and was introduced to two different menus: authentic Chinese home-style and Americanized versions. It's worth noting that they do not offer fortune cookies in China. I highly recommend Lao Sze Chuan and will definitely be returning. Ignore any negative comments, as our experience was fantastic.

The restaurant was amazing and surprisingly empty during my visit. The food was exceptional and I couldn't understand why it wasn't busier. They had a wide selection on the menu and I thoroughly enjoyed their specialties. Despite some reviews mentioning the prices, I found the portion sizes and quality to be worth it. I would definitely return to this restaurant. I was staying nearby at a hotel but was happy to have found this gem. The restaurant has received numerous awards and it's clear why. The wait staff were attentive and I had a great dining experience. Ignore any negative reviews, this place was delicious.

The service and staff here are fantastic! We got the dumplings which I thought had too much meat and did not care for the dough. We got the dry chili chicken which was very spicy and very good. Chicken fried rice was perfect with nice chicken breast pieces. Mango smoothy tasted like real mango and very well mixed. The menu is on the pricey side but they do have a lot of variety.

The fried rice, stir-fried green beans, and lemon shrimp were all delicious. We also tried the pot stickers, which were good, but the chili oil could have used more flavor - perhaps adding some vinegar or soy sauce would have improved it as it tasted a bit bland.
