L'Ardoise ranks among the best restaurants in Perros-Guirrec for many reasons. First of all : the friendliness of the staff. Flock there and be sure you'll be warmly welcomed, politely served and enjoy a sincerely warm atmosphere. Then : the food is just great ! The products are fresh and perfectly cooked. The menu offers a great range of seafood options, but also includes other meals for veggies and meatlovers. The dishes are really fine, tasty ; the presentation looks so good too... and the desserts are just dreamy ! As for the wine option : superb too ! After that : one word about the serving time. Well, I was blasted by the fact that L'Ardoise is almost the only place that still serves you for lunch after 2pm. So big up to L'Ardoise team ! Final word : the prices are really affordable, and the restaurant is perfectly located on the banks of Perros-Guirrec marina... Well, to sum up : THE best spot in the city ! Plus : if the weather is great (hum... in Brittany ?! well... nothing's impossible ; , you can also enjoy your lunch on the outdoor terrace. Fresh !
We had a nice morning exploring the coast between Trebeurden and Perros Guirec, al the way looking for somewhere to enjoy a sea food platter. All the tourist restaurants along the coast were either terribly crowded or too expensive. In the end, just as we were about to give up and settle for a picnic, we found L'Ardoise on the quayside at Perros Guirec. Excellent. Spotted a brilliant steak tartare on a neighbouring table, so compromised and had oysters followed by the tartare. A hard life!
We were impressed by this place. The two owners were very friendly and offered excellent service. The food was good and nicely presented. I enjoyed my paella and my wife enjoyed her goats cheese salad with little batonnets of apple in it. And her cafe gourmand. Although not entirely to my taste , they've made an effort with the decor as well. Only negative was a humourless waitress . Definitely a cut above the average.
During visit to Perros-Guirec wandered the quay looking for somewhere to eat. After reviewing various menus chose L'Ardoise for lunch. Very glad we made the choice, food was excellent, I had La Planche Magret, which very good value for money. The rest of the party went for the 17.90€ menu. Everyone was very satisfied. Definitely recommend a visit.
