Comió aquí anoche como parte de nuestra estancia en este increíble hotel. Nos dijeron que era el mejor de los restaurantes aquí, y mientras no los probamos a todos, por lo que, por lo que tiene que estar. Comemos en la terraza en una noche cálida pero oscura y una vista sobre cómo el otro complejo de villa medio vivo. En un paquete de media pensión, la elección de platos es limitada pero todavía suficiente para seleccionar. All the ingredients are here for what should be a memorable experience for all the right reasons. Lovely setting in the hotel grounds next to one of the pools. I would rather have had a far fewer courses with more precision but this was 18 small plates often served 3 plates at a time. If the plates were reduced, if 1/2 the ingredients were left off them, if the flavours were sharpened, it could be wonderful. You know when the master chef judges look at a plate and shake their heads “too much going on, too many competing ingredients colours and flavours”. Keep it simple make it better. We eat at all the restaurants on the Bahia del Duque complex, all were good. Las Aguas was the one we liked the least, which was a shame. Very nicely presented fine dining, and a decent setting, however it was a little let down by two factors, firstly if you are going to place €55 bottle of wine out of the reach of the diners, you'd better make sure you top up their glasses on a regular basis, we were reduced to calling over members of staff to top us up (which they seemed to struggle with if it wasn't their allocated task/table) or have to walk across to a serving table to get the wine ourselves. Este restaurante gourmet tiene una influencia canaria y ofrece un menú degustación extremadamente tentador si usted tiene la resistencia. Lamentablemente, no lo hicimos. Aplaudí el objetivo de cocinar cocina tradicional canaria con un toque moderno y toda la comida tenía muy buen sabor. Sin embargo, sentí que los sabores y combinaciones de sabores eran bastante básicos y nada realmente me impresionó. La tabla de quesos es un reto cuando 4 de los 5 quesos saben prácticamente como Parmesano para mis limitadas habilidades de degustación. El equipo era maravilloso y el plato canario que tuvimos fue excelente.
Our second visit in a week. First visit a la carte, second taster menu, both wonderful. The quality and presentation of the food was amazing. The biggest complement has to go to Sergio the Maitre and his team for their friendly and welcoming atmosphere. Sergio made us feel very special and we thank him and all at Las Aguas.
It's hard to find fault with any of the restaurants at Bahia del Duque, including this one! The food at Las Aguas was lovely and the staff were extremely helpful too, offering a selection of wine to compliment each dish! Everything we ate was delicious and bursting with flavour Thank you for making our stay enjoyable :
