"This is the two stars michelin restaurant of olivier bellin. The experience is amazing and all around local, regional products from brittany. The location is unfortunately a bit underwhelming and the dining room decoration is not at the level of the food. Having said that,...the food and experience is so fantastic that the rest is quickly forgotten. I highly recommend going there if you want to try a modern approach to local food."

Olivier Bellin and his staff are masters at creating sophisticated dishes based on Breton cuisine. As expected at this level (with one exception) everything is exceptional. Highlights for us were Langoustine with Boudin Noir; Lobster, and Turbot served with thin slices of crispy andouille, meat...filled ravioli and tiny haricot verts that were so finely diced that we could not guess what they were, a truly amazing dish. The bread service here is outstanding, and the desserts intense. Since our last visit 2 years ago the restaurant has been redecorated in a more modern style (my wife liked, I preferred the older country ambience). Absolutely beautiful food both in taste and presentation. We had the plaisir menu to taste lots of things , and focusing on local fish and buckwheat this menu delivered diverse, exceptional and unusual combinations of mainly fish and seafood. Lovely amuse bouche to start, best...selection of different kind of bread- squid ink, seaweed, cheese and ham, buckwheat- and perfectly sized portions, lovely light and not sweet pudding and fantastic wine list with helpful advice from the sommelier. Lovely food, lovely service, the decor needs to be rethought, just as the food is all of local provenance I 'd love to see the local pigment dyed linen, driftwood etc used to compliment the mood of the food...

we had the menu plaisir today and we both agreed that we enjoyed the best meal in our lives without doubt and how we lived and worked in four different countries and have drawn our rents for ten years, no small... succession of life to have found the restaurant of this really inspired chef olivier bellin. the amuse bouche set the standard for the whole meal with longytin and lobster inspired courses so tenderly cooked, paired with the saltiness of the tinted fish color or the beautiful cremeux by boudin noir. beautiful local products everywhere, treated with real inspiration.

expect a thing: the hostes will try to cash in high amounts while not disturbing to make them feel comfortable. no idea what a good service is. they will try to deposit at dinner, breakfast, extra bed. in the suit they expect immediate withdrawal with...no refund possible if they book, then no help with luggage when they arrive, an indifferent look when they go and not least. no internet in the post-pandemie 2021. only from contact with reality and live from a much overrated relay
