If you like pizza Laurin should be your go to place if you are in Deggendorf. Honestly don't understand why this restaurant hasn't got higher ratings. The pizzas are HUGE, not expensive and are very tasty. So good that it actually transported us to Italy for a bit. What I liked was that when you can't finish your pizza (almost no one can) you can take the leftovers with you so nothing goes to waste. We took the leftover pizza with us to Hungary, warmed it up in the oven and it was still very good! The beers we ordered to go with our pizza's were great too. Attentive and friendly service, clean restrooms, good salad the octupus was nice and soft and pizza, lava cake and tiramisu were good. Plates are on the larger side, pizza big and thin. Vitello was good but the veal was rather well done than medium. Location is nice as well. May be not the high end fancy Italian restaurant you find in other cities but a very decent and well run place with enough friendly servers.
Excellent Italian food, with an occasional German twist in this friendly restaurant overlooking the River Danube. If you want an outside table on a busy night, book ahead as it is very popular. All the food is good and the pizzas are huge, so think about whether you might want to share one between two. They also do a takeaway service which seems very popular with the local students.
We have been here a few times and we always got a great impression! The food is great, the service fast and very friendly and the prices are very reasonable! The restaurant is also located next to the river, which gives a nice view and is close to 2 large playgrounds! We can fully recommend this restaurant!

Sehr gutes Essen, freundlicher Service und wunderschöne Terrasse direkt an der Donau. Wir waren von den riesengroßen Pizzen mit hauchdünnem Boden begeistert. Auch glutenfrei zu bekommen. Wir werden sicher mal wiederkommen!
3 x pizza für 12.00 Uhr bestellt ,wir waren um 11.48 schon da . Da waren die Pizzen bereits fertig auf dem Tresen gestand. Fahrzeit 5 min . Alles eiskallt und somit auch schwammig und geschmacksneutral
Bei sonnigem Wetter hier an der Donau zu sitzen und von wahnsinnig freundlichem Service bedient zu werden, und währenddessen eine über-tellerrandgroße Pizza zu genießen: unschlagbar. Preis Leistung Top.
Hier wird die Qualität der Pizza oder eines Nudelgerichtes nach der Menge gemessen,der Geschmack ist mäßig. Das Weißbier, Bayer Weißbier, ich trank nur 2 Schluck. Hier sieht mich keiner mehr.

Really really amazing food. Pizza and pasta are awesome! The pizzas are HUGE and super delicious. And the restaurant was totally full. No free tables at all. We had to eat in 15 mins.
You can eat there really good. I can recommend their pizza. They prepare it fresh and live. Also there noodles are pretty well but in my mind their pizza is better and bigger.
