Uzes seems to specialise in these restaurants - they look worryingly quiet on the outside and you begin to wonder if you've made a mistake, only for you to realise that the 'action' is through the back - where you will find other diners enjoying their meal in a beautiful courtyard.Lovely meal and good service in a very pleasant environment. In the center of Uzes, large dining room that can also accommodate groups, a lovely terrace in the back with abundant vegetation and very quiet. The service is good, and this restaurant is a notch above the usual tourist restaurants in Uzes. The menu varies with the seasons and is respectable French cuisine of a traditional nature.

The food was excellent quality and beautifully cooked. The service was impeccable and the ambiance great. The wine is reasonable priced as is the meal. I had lamb and my husband had beef. Both were cooked to perfection and served with lovely vegetables. The desserts were great and beautifully presented. A great evening.

We chose a large mixed salad and aubergines stuffed with mince meat. Both excellent meals and the service was also very good.
