It took eight minutes for someone to take our drink orders, and we waited 20 minutes for water after requesting it. Our drinks arrived close to 20 minutes after we placed our orders. We waited another 20 minutes before we could place our food orders, and then it took about 30 minutes for the appetizers to be served. We decided to order a second round of drinks while waiting, and once again had to ask for water refills.
We started our meal at 7:40, and our main courses didn’t arrive until 9:10, meaning we didn’t leave the restaurant until after 10. The food was, as always, wonderful, and we plan to return, but the service was incredibly slow. It felt like we had to ask for everything instead...
Entree 's were excellent. Salad was missing dressing (large cashew maple). Service was way too slow, as staff said they were not expecting so many people, after having only four reservations (one of which was ours). We go only a couple of times annually and this is the first time the service was unsatisfactory, as it relates to timing of all courses in our meal. I almost felt forced to tip well due to the great entree 's, and did not want to 'short ' the chef his/her due. Waitress was nice, but seemingly overwhelmed. It was our 33rd wedding anniversary and disappointed that it was completely overshadowed by the slow service. May not return
My husband and I enjoyed a relaxing and delicious dinner at Le Belvedere last week. The atmosphere is comfortable and quiet enough so we could have conversation without speaking loudly, but it is not so quiet that you feel everyone is listening. The food was well prepared. My duck breast was rare, as requested and my husband’s fettuccine with snails was not peppered as he requested. I am always pleased when a chef prepares food to the taste of his customers rather than how he believes we should like it. The service was perfect. I would recommend this restaurant highly.
The new menu is fantastic, featuring four beef options, a generous lamb shank, and a variety of seafood dishes. Two of us ordered the fillet, which was cooked to perfection, while one person enjoyed the large lamb shank, and the fourth opted for the scallops. The restaurant has a pleasant, quiet atmosphere and offers a beautiful view of Lake Memphremagog to the north. It's just one of the many great things about the Northeast Kingdom. I can't wait to try more of their dishes!

Visited two nights in a row...Thursday for Sushi at a table for two and Friday with a group of seven. I was amazed at how different the food was prepared each night and how great it was. We all enjoyed our dinners and will definitely return again!
What a lovely place to dine on our 50th Wedding Anniversary. Wonderful food. Attentive, courteous and friendly wait staff .All with a beautiful water view.,
The food was excellent overall, but the asparagus had a burnt taste, and the duck was overcooked.
Excellent- meat was cooked to perfection and service was outstanding
