Upon entering this place decorated in some American beach mall style, hopes of eating well sunk. But , after a long drive ,too tired to walk to town we decided to have dinner here. Passing a huge tank with beautiful lobsters waiting to be transformed...into tourist fodder we sat down . The waiter took our orders with great care ,taking note of everybody 's preferred cooking time of stake etc. After a while we got a pile of pasta with a dead lobster on top, but no tools to open it... I can not believe this restaurant has only 5 reviews. The food was amazing and at a decent price. We paid 16 euros per person for an entree, main plate and dessert. The food was really fresh and the view was spectacular. The service was really good too. Before I forget, remember to ask for the house whine which was cheap, 8 euros for the bottle, and excellent. All in all the best meal I had without having to pay $30 plus dollars per person and having to go to a fancy restaurant. This is a restaurant right on the beach which is fantastic.
We ate here in September for dinner and it was perfect! We sat on the terrace and the beach was empty and beautiful. Sunset came and tables were candlelit. Very romantic. I had the duck skewers from the menu and it was amazing! Amazing! My...husband had a steak and it was also delicious. Make sure you order it well done for a medium rare, because they cook them very rare in France. Back to the duck. . .probably the best thing I ate during our 2 week stay. No kidding. We also had a wonderful apple dessert with ice cream.

we were in the villa astoria on the hill of here, so we had lunch here a week. the maitre d was so friendly and helpful, at the end he knew my name and made us feel so welcome! the fish is very...fresh, salate amazing have the fish speciality if they can break on our last day we after going to the market and asked him to save us two as they always sell. they can do so much at the weekends to book at lunchtime. the pichets of the wee are of great value.
Oh so beautiful Cassis but shame on this French attitude towards an American family on vacation Came ready to have a wonderful afternoon overlooking the beautiful beach and have a nice lunch We were treated basically like DIRT we were the very last served after...one hour when everyone else came and went and still we sat The arrogance of our waiter was unreal When we tried to order we were told No! Not available ! Proceed with caution !!
incredibly rude staff. the type was aggressive, just because I asked to see the bill before I pay. if they are not able to pay a bill for them customers for them, then it is the debt of the restaurants and the customers. they need a review some...basic manage. You just ruined ours at night.
A lovely, but quite pebbled, beach in Cassis. Right across the highway from Hotel de la Plage Mahogany. Not super-crowded. Very easy and relaxing. Scenery was lovely.
