This little restaurant used to be a cabin at the lake but has now moved to premises in the town. Food is lovely. French and nicely presented. I am a vegetarian and as there was no vegetarian option , I asked and there was no issue with creating a veggie special for me. The owners are friendly , speak to their customers as they move about and even remembered us after 5 years.

If you pass by Barbontan, go eat at Claude's. Warm welcome, we feel good. Copious dishes: a cassoulet fallen byterre...a magret just delicious... and a small Armagnac. Thank you!
