Located at about 40 kms from the coast Bezaudun les Alpes is a charming small medieval village 250 inhabitants) which deserves a short walk through its narrow streets. The terrace of the bistrot offers a stunning panoramic view of the southern Alps, probably one of the best. Menu bistrot on a board, simple but good. Dishes are prepared on the spot with good quality products. This leads to some delay but you don 't come to this place to be in a hurry. Two excellent and uncommon dishes: tartare steak Italian way not spicy, very fresh and tasty) and secca of Entrevaux dry beef slices). We came here for lunch today, having passed by last week. The bistro has lovely views across the valley, and is immaculately clean throughout. The menu is short, and everything is freshly prepared in the open kitchen, so meals may take a little while. We started with secca from Entreveaux, then had mains of duck in a honey/ginger sauce, and a beef burger. Delicious! Good value at €52 with mineral water and coffee; and service with a smile. The medieval village is worth an after lunch stroll. Recommended!

A very good meal in a perfect place, with great views, quiet and peacefulness. It's the second time we went and not the last. Everything is fresh, copious and tasty. The owner who cooks and her daughter at service are very friendly. Quite a bit of a drive to go to this remote place in the mountains, but it's part of the charm. It feels like you're closer to Geneva than Nice, and yet barely 40 mn from the sea.
Nice to have come to sandrine. dishes and dessert houses are delicious, warm welcome. having known bezaudun with 2 lavender hotel restaurants, and bella vista in my childhood, I was delighted to see a person as a sandy make the village relive with this pretty little bistro. I promise to come back another day to enjoy the terrace with its unbeatable view, in addition to good dishes.
