Had birthday lunch for nine here. Food was lovely, in particular the duck. We had two children aged 2 and the chef’s children’s menu hit the spot perfectly Mellon, fish and ice cream. With the al a carte at €35 for three courses you can’t go wrong. The waitresses were helpful and very efficient. Lovely lunch.
Really tasty and good value restaurant in a gorgeous village. Serves up classics with a level of flair. Their wine list has some lovely local bottles at very fair prices. I can absolutely recommend Le Bistro de la Place if you are holidaying in the area. And do book an outside table if the weather is fine.
Nice meal. Nice casual atmosphere next to the village square...the bistro is part of the Le Vieux Logis hotel. It is also nice that you can order small bottles of wine (50 cl) with your meal.
