Ignore the bad reviews of this hidden gem of a restaurant. Yes it is very busy, yes you may get the odd grumpy response from the owner/manager but that’s because he’s trying to please a full restaurant on a sunny day. We skied down early...morning to book a table for and were given no promises as (clearly) on a Sunny day this gorgeous terrace is the place to be. Anyway we arrived at and our table was ready (sorry should have taken our hosts name) Great service, lovely mountain food in the sunshine. Worth the wait on a sunny day get here early.

We spotted this from the lift tucked away, looked perfect. How wrong we were. The place was half empty (mainly as groups left due to poor service and attitude) yet they were turning people away who only wanted a drink. The owner (I...assume) was best described as gruff. The menu had only half of the dishes available. I opted for the salad which was completely drenched in vinaigrette and so despite being a veggie tucked into my partners omlette avec lardons. Don't be fooled by its position and look worst place we've eaten in Portes de Soleil.

We saw this place on the chair lift and thought it would make an ideal lunch stop. We were greeted quite directly and soon found out they had very little food available. When looking at the menu we were chastised by the rudest man in...the Porte de soleil, unfortunately he worked there and undone all the good work another guy was trying to do. The salad was drowned in vingarette and the omelette was average. Go for the location but not the food or service. A sad let-down.

Highly recommend the place to have Lunch! All their dishes are home made and excellent! Take the day dish as this is always highly recommendable. Going there now for years! Live close by! Make sure you arrive early! Daydish gets sold out fast!

Beautiful location, ski in, ski out, understaffed, therefore service was slow. Very rude to clients generally, plenty of slamming chairs around. Such a shame as the food, when it arrived was nice, but quite expensive.
