On a lovely hot and sunny day, we decided to go to the I'lle D'Doleron and having visited this restaurant before we were eager to try it again. There was no problem getting a nice table on the terrace and we had a nice chilled glass of wine whilst perusing the menu. We decided to go for 9 oysters each, followed by the grilled sea bass and were not disappointed with the quality of either choice. The sea bass came with steamed potatoes and a medley of vegetables in a light curry sauce delicious. Too full to eat a dessert, we drank our wine leisurely and were not rushed in any way to leave. At the entrance of the island, facing the sea, pretty airy room! Lots of premises. family atmosphere between them :-) very neat cuisine and dishes, nice presentation. a very hearty mayo lawyer, half lawyer, salad (other than mesclun ouf!) shrimps, mushrooms, grapefruit supremes, tomatoes. Cocktail sauce (just a pity that it is not home), pebble with a rich curry sauce (light), well-presented rice, caramel cream. a high quality ratio! A good local rosé! a waitress full of humor (a little cold joke like you like), effective and nice! We've got a good dose of crazy laughing, after having eaten very well it tastes. We don't get caught. only for tourists. Keep it!
After being turned away from a restaurant not far from this one as we arrived close to 2pm hence we were getting a bit desperate. The weather did not help matters as we were cold and wet and French boyfriend goes into melt down if he does not have lunch. Thank heavens the lovely owners of this restaurant came to our rescue and we really enjoyed their moules frites. Merci encore et à tres bientot, Leeann et Guy
the bosco of the seas is located at the entrance of the oleron island, the tourists are welcome, I take the example of my family with young children. service is efficient, the reasonable price menu of 15€ is of very good value for money. the setting is composed of a beautiful restaurant room with a pleasant seaside terrace with a magnificent view.

The restaurant seen from outside can make you hesitate. but not oysters dishes desserts are very good. I told her in person, but the waitress is a great smile at the top.Thank you for taking part in my little husband's birthday surprise. You will also have a beautiful view of the bridge. I ordered a seafood tray and in the jobs there were flies poops inside the shell. The waitress apologized to me for something else, but it cut my appetite! at the time of the audition no commercial gesture while I ate nothing! I'm not going back to the island!
already a good point for a restaurant that serves you at 14:30 even on Sunday! Without pretention but generous, excellent, very kind service and good value for money....to be recommended!
