Le Cadran - Reserva de mesa

We too stumbled upon this restaurant for lunch. We sat outside on the veranda and had a pleasant delicious lunch. The owner/server was quite attentive and made great suggestions. We were later joined there by two local French men who were busy drinking and talking and invited us to join them, which we did. We tried to communicate as best we all could, and we all enjoyed the attempts to talk in French and English despite all the odds. A delightful cafe and a memorable experience well!

After a long day of walking Auvers, we stumbled across Le Cadran. Not knowing what to order, we went with the special of the day. It was served in a deep individual quiche bowl. It was amazing, full of vegetables, a tasty broth of some sort with a cracker-type crust on top. I have no idea what was inside it, but it was delicious. Salad and bread was also included. I totally recommend this café. You can find it off the beaten track a bit, near many of Van Gogh's painting sites.

We went here for lunch on a very dismal day in February. The owner Sonya was lovely and as two Franglais speakers she treated us very well! The only two guests who arrived ten minutes before lunch service finished we were more than happy. Next time in Auvers we may pop in for the Thursday whisky tasting it was Craigellachie that week and Sonya wanted the proper pronunciation. Good home cooking and friendly service, loved it.

As per previous review, we came here by random after visiting dr gachets house. Really enjoyed a lunch on the terrace and the interior was charming. Although we drank wine, my husband commented on their extremely good beer selection, far better than the majority of bars we visit in Paris. we wish this place was in Paris (where we live) so we could drink here more often. Stumbled upon this great little cafe on a walking tour of Auvers-sur-Oise on the way to Dr Gachet's house. Was most impressed with the atmosphere and attention to detail of this new little cafe. Just wish I'd found it earlier in my visit but definitely worth seeking it out.

If the sun is out on your visit to Vincent's final home town you will find no better place to sit outside and enjoy the remarkable setting of this unintentionally remarkable spot. Great appies and a wonderful outdoor cafe vantage point for an unforgettable afternoon.

This hotel was just fine The location was good, the price was reasonable and I felt safe even though the door was open 24 hours.
