Le cafe de la paix

Stopped for lunch, whilst on a motorcycle tour with 2 friends. The food was excellent, and a very reasonable price too. My friends both said it was one of the best burgers they'd had, and I had a salad, which was huge and very tasty. It was a lovely day, so we sat outside, and the guy serving us was very friendly, helpful, and amusing. I will be eating there again when I'm cycling that way in June....

After being let down on a reservation the heavens opened in chinon and trying to find a restaurant in chinon became a nightmare-we finally opted for this traditional brasserie and were pleasantly surprised by our experience-the people were very accommodating and we chose coté de boeuf between the two of us-This was good simple food at a really good price!

Visited the Café de la Paix on a Monday night for dinner. Food prices are reasonable for the location, although the drinks did seem a bit pricey. We were served quickly and the food was very nice (we had burgers and the chicken dish). We can not fault the service as the waiter was extremely pleasant. Would recommend.

Service très accueillant et chaleureux !!! Les plats sont généreux et en plus c'est délicieux. Nous avons pris la suggestion du chef, filet de canard sauce citronnée purée de pommes de terre légumes frais. En dessert le millefeuille vanille bourbon. Je recommande sans problème. Merci. my favorite place to drink a coffee in the morning on the beautiful terrace with views of the come and rebelais. an extremely friendly welcome. high quality, hearty, good chinon. a very good address if you're on the city.

Personnel accueillant et très souriant, repas servi rapidement et copieux. À l’écoute car aucune hésitation pour faire réchauffer un plat. Excellente étape !!! Menu à 28 euros très correct.
