Le Cafe De La Place

ATTENTION DANGEROUS AND AGGRESSIVE DOG the dog of the owner of the café attacked our little dog impossible to intervene once the dog had bitten it he would not let go and shake it fortunately a lady threw her glass on the dog and was able to save ours with injuries no apology from the owner the dog was not attached and he doesn't care that's it, he continues to leave him without a leash after our departure The gendarmerie was notified I'll put photos of the dog in question so that it doesn't happen again.

We visited for lunch whilst wandering around Minerve (fabulous town we played safe and went for omelettes (cheese ham along with some chips. The omelettes were fine and it was a sizeable portion of chips (we could have shared ! . Service was surly and functional (both the waitresses could have appeared a bit more happier ! . There are several restaurants in Minerve and from the outside I would guess that they are better than Le Cafe de la Place.

after a walk in the village of minerve and its surroundings. we had no reservations and all the restaurants were full. We found this restaurant with a shady square and especially we were able to recover. Do not expect a map with dishes to evolve, but rather simple, hearty dishes, which do quite the trick to restore after a good walk. The welcome is nice and the service is nice. The ideal place to take a break to recover.

Lots of places to eat in Minerve but this one is hidden down a side street. Not much to look at as approach. All the seating is under trees or along the outer edge of the village overlooking the gorge. Nice view. Food not fancy, just tasty. Take a seat and your order is taken. Lovely just to sit, relax in shade and enjoy a coffee.

Cheap cheerful. Small menu. Nice location. Plenty of shade. Pleasant staff. Service a little slow. Toilets poor. Only accept cash no cards
