Bar/Café in in the centre of a pretty village. Quiet setting with plenty of outdoor seating. Perfect for a sunny afternoon. Minimal road traffic. Convivial host named Jan. He's a Dutch man who speaks perfect English with no discernable accent. He also speaks good French. He really is a nice guy and joined me at my table for pleasant conversation. In fact, everyone was extremely friendly. A French guy turned up on a motorbike and joined us, and when he left, we were joined by a Dutch couple who also spoke Perfect English, and they were extremely friendly too. It's a little pricey for drinks, though. I paid 14 euros for 2 pints of Tigre Bock (kronenberg). That said, it's worth it for the warmt...
this small bar-caffee is located in a village classified in the most beautiful villages of france, on the royal square, facing the castle of the dukes of mortmart, many stone houses, former convent with 2 steps of beautiful buildings transformed into cottages, old room on this same place, the patron of the bar, French English is very welcoming, friendly. see and visit absolutely. Very nice village, not to miss. L.H
We received a warm welcome, the weather was lovely so we sat outside in this beautiful village. The bar is open during the afternoon which is unusual and a great bonus. It had a fair amount of customers given it is off season. Everyone received a very friendly welcome from the owner. We will definitely be back
it's great this little coffee in the middle of this beautiful village its owner is a unique character bravo for him because many small bars like his own unfortunately put the key under the door
