Le Caveau - Reservar una mesa

We were expecting a bit more after reading the reviews and seeing the pics: the dishes were ok, nicely served but missed some finishing touch', the service was not that good (took more than an hour before the main dish arrived and only then they...realized they forgot to serve us a sorbet in between starter and main dish). The dessert was super good (creme brulée with caramel). No house wine on the card but several bottles. We had to ask for some water So food not that bad, service could be better

The food is nice and there are several set menus to chose from, so something for most budgets as well as the al a carte. We had the Euro set menu and were very happy with what we got. Lots of wine to chose...from too. The surrounding are nice but the staff could have been friendlier. They were trying to get you through the meal as quickly as possibly or perhaps they were just being efficient. It gets busy so I recommend that you book in advance.

We had a fantastic meal here last night. We all chose the set Euro menu, which was outstanding. Each course was delicious, but if I had to choose one it would be the scallops, which were out of this world, followed closely by the...foie gras. Thank you for a wonderful evening in a charming setting.

the restaurant proudly displays ten years old gastronomy prices and they feel it eating is good, but the presentation lacks any effort, the service is quite cold, the deko is old. the sale of champagne caps really feels like a shady scheme to tear off tourist.
