We were avoiding the autoroute du soleil by using the N7 and stopped by chance at Le Ceramic. We were dleighted to find that we had accidentally encountered a gem of a restaurant. The setting by the side of the Rhone was superb. The food was excellent we both had the scallops with salad and an apricot tart and the service was equally good. I might have taken exception to the music over the PA but as we couldnt hear this in the restaurant so it was not an issue. Mme Filippi, the wife of the chef and owner was jolly and appeared to be really enjoying her chosen profession. This was so much better than stopping at a services on the autoroute.
