Le Chardon - Reservar una mesa

We were on our way from Toulouse to Mirepoix, we were hungry, there was nothing on the main road except for dreadful filling station cafés, and it was after 2pm. We were obviously in danger of missing lunch altogether, so at random we took the exit for Montgiscard and discovered Le Chardon right in the middle of this very sleepy town. But they had two of the day's specials left...veal, and some string beans, all for €9.80. Not the best meal I have ever had, but totally satisfactory and very reasonable, with friendly service. What's not to like?

Friendly place Quick service , the midi menu desserts a quarter of wine and coffee entry and buffet dessert at will ) all for 13 € 80. Determined to be recommended.

13,80€ the menu of the noon with buffet of entrances and desserts with flat will 1/4 wine coffee. The boss is very nice and accommodating. Very good value for money

Excellent table, family kitchen for a more than reasonable price in a nice village near Toulouse and the Canal du Midi.
