We tried this place as having a restaurant at an organic grocery store is quite a novelty in France. It was the first week the place was opened and they still need to work on things. I ordered a club sandwich and was told they had no club sandwich on that day. Never mind I ordered a tartine and as I noticed the bread was gluten free I asked for a list of ingredient as sometimes, ingredients to replace gluten can be an issue for me. No one knew what the bread was made of and when I went to check in the shop, I realized they are selling items without a list of ingredients, which is schocking to me. I highly recommend this place if you are looking for delicious vegetarian/vegan or simply healthy organic food in Nice. We were 2 couples, 2 of us not having a particular diet and still they loved all the dishes and were impressed by the delicious desserts. Many of the desserts are not only vegan and gluten-free but also sugar-free. The owner even takes time to detoxify all nuts and do homemade nuts’ milks. The salads, soup, pizza, purée, veggie bowls, green juice and desserts were all healthy and fabulous. The prices are reasonable and the atmosphere particularly joyful. While driving through the South of France from cannes I was looking for a nice organic and Bio restaurant as I had not come across one yet in france. I came across this place and without hesitation booked a table. All I can say is it was a great experience, very friendly staff who noticed that I could not speak french and helped me at all possibilities. The food was great and I absolutely loved the bio supermarket right next to the restaurant allowing me to stock up on a few goodies for the rest of my car trip through the riviera. If around the cannes region I would definitely recommend this place!
My husband and I were traveling to Nice on our honeymoon. We found this cafe/deli and wanted to try the variety of gluten free offerings. After a delicious meal we were talking to the very kind and generous owner. Sharing that it is hard to go out to eat at restaurants in Europe at times being gluten free because you want to enjoy the breaking of bread with your table. She offered to bake me my own loaf of bread to take with me on my travels! Such a sweet offering. Two days later we returned to pick up the fresh, healthy loaf that we took with us onthe rest of our journey. A must stop in Nice!

A wide variety of gluten free, vegan and other delicious offerings quiche made with coconut milk, crudités, Indian chicken. Plus loads of vegetables and other bio choices. Don’t be fooled by the unassuming shop front this place is magical. Lots of bio drinks and excellent teas and coffee. My favourite dessert is the bounty : cacao, coco butter and coconut it is way better than the eponymous bar. A great find for people who want to eat better. Lovely staff. Nice is often a real let down but this place is a shining beacon of light.

The staff at Le Comptoir were wonderful! Our money and cards were temporarily stuck in our hotel safe but we were welcomed and put at ease. We had a superb meal, beautifully prepared, the food is delicious and our waitress was happy to translate as needed, great atmosphere! (We popped back with payment first thing next morning as arranged. Thank you for a great evening!
Wow, the food here is incredibly healthy, and sooo yummyI had a small salad, and she was kind enough to warm the cold/warm items in the oven.
