We were staying in La Palme for almost a week and we visited Le Comptior twice. Turned out that a young Parisian couple had taken over the place and had been open for just one week. The first night, after a minor accident were the matron broke one of our glasses while cleaning out the table, she compensated with coffee. To us it was no biggie as it was an true accident and no one was injured but she was mortified. The food was great as well as the atmosphere and service. The second evening they had a a special bbq-menue of great value. 3 courses a drink for only 28 €. The food was awsome as well as the servise. The food really was excellent.the 34 euro offer of 3 courses from any thing on the menu also appears good value. But basically it depends what you choose. We chose carefully . One had the offer, the other just one main course. When the bill came the more expensive main was charged as the separate dish.the offer was then equal to buying the dishes separtly. Additionally they charged for an additional item, which when queried they said it was an error and removed it. Such a shame, we are in the area for a while and would have returned, hut we are unhappy with the bill calculations I am afraid
Stayed in Le Palme for 1 week, we chose to eat here 5 days out of 7. Attentive and very pleasant staff and owner, good menu, special offers. Food quality is excellent, rivals many other restaurants with big reputations in other locations. Has a very friendly unique charm and warm hospitality. Great selection of local wines and beers. All things considered, a great place to eat and while away the hours
