We worked up an appetite on the steep climb through winding streets to see the massive château at the summit and were rewarded with a lovely meal at Le Donjon. My enormous Perigordian salad featured a slab of foie gras (with a delicious onion conserve...on the side), thinly shaved slices of smoked duck, and tender gizzards atop a bed of fresh greens, tomatoes, and walnuts. My husband's leg of duck was perfectly cooked, then sliced in the traditional fan-shaped way. There is seating on a terrace with far-reaching views, as well as indoor tables.
Excellent!We were able to taste a delicious Perigord salad! Fresh products, generous plate, very pleasant and efficient service, a real good time! And above all taste the local ice creams (especially the Perigord honey and the Perigord nuts), they are to fall on the ground.
Perfect position a little way from the Chateau entrance. Very helpful polite staff, great seating areas to the front and side. We had omelettes, then crepes with sugar lemon. This was served quickly and was very good and at a fair price (unlike...nearer the Chateau).
Catch tourist as usual, the water is not very good and the bottle has 6€le litre !! The dishes have no passion on the plates, unlockable, I recommend you go downstairs and eat at the edge of the Dordogne in a real restaurant.

lunch with the family and everything was very well at the level of the meal and the service are ironed eating succulent pancakes after the visit of the castle of excellent homemade chocolate pancakes
Super restore quality nikel price, very welcoming and warm, clean sanitary very well kept, the setting is super nice and the very nice staff, I recommend it after a superb visit to the castle.
Great reception, super nice and smiling staff. The ice cream is terribly good, the whipped supplement is very generous. Reasonable rate, and high price ratio excellent.
Great restaurant, good products and good prices, I recommend after the visit of Beynac Castle, because it is right at the foot of this castle.
