We zipped up the Bachas for a look at the views and some morning coffee in the sunshine on the pretty terrace of this new restaurant.We sat in the wrong part of the terrace. Apparently.The waitress, who had all of 4 tables to serve, shouted over to us a mumbled message that although I speak French, I didn't quite get the first time.On being asked to repeat her communication the second time she yelled it rudely and gesticulated with her hands for us to move.All eyes, all French, from the other tables turned towards us with amused stares (yes and you people could do with a couple of politeness lessons too)We sat down at another table. this place has a great view and a very beautiful terrace. worth a visit. if the weather is nice, they also have a DJ/saxophone player who entertains the guests. 2 restaurants, a "fine dine" and a self-serve with tablets. Unfortunately, the fine Dine Square was...ful, so they can check this. However, the personal was really friendly when they explained that it was full. eating in the self-service area was bad and expensive. we tried burger, cold cuts, carbonara etc. and we had to leave the food. we are not the picky type, but can enjoy mcdonalds and the like, as well as fine din, and we rarely leave eating. but that was just not good. in the gourmet restaurant « le chamois qui fume » we have some excellent dishes in a typical mountain scenery with impressive wood architecture. we were also entertained by music played by a saxophonist. the staff was very friendly with us, even if we asked them about. several questions. if I could give them a advice, they should try the “Burger Gourmand” (in the picture below), which is a burger with a piece of grilled foie gras. delicious! I highly recommend this restaurant for its atmosphere and its eating.

I waited almost ten minutes to order two coffees, and I was second in the wait. the barista made an aperol painfully slow and then decided to empty its beverage refrigerator, completely ignored the growing number of people. in the meantime other employees were standing. chatting around. the coffee was expensive, but ok and the a la carte meal was good, but again so slow. beautiful terrace, great location and super sax player so a mixed experience.

We stopped here for lunch the views are stunning but the food from the self service area is very average. The lasagne tasted reasonably good, but wasn’t very warm. The burger was alright but came with a very thin white sauce which didn’t...taste of anything. If you just fancy carb loading I would return, otherwise avoid.
