We always try to sail to France on the Pont Aven, as Le Flora restaurant, perched aft at the top of the ship, is so elegant and relaxing. We ate off the buffet menu, so for starters we could choose from an enormous range of salads, meats, fish, langoustines, prawns, crab, rice, taboule, humus which makes choosing very hard. It's also hard to avoid over doing the starters and thus ruining one's appetite. We did though manage the mains, duck and lamb, generous portions and both excellent. We then had just enough room for a selection of cheeses. We drank a half bottle of Muscadet, a bottle of Crozes Hermitage, and bottled water.
