Le Casanova is open 7 days a week for lunch and dinner. We tried both! Reserve for dinner; the lunch buffet is very busy with lots of workers but we walked in a bit early and were seated right away. The buffet is from Monday to Friday, from 12 to 14.30 an unlimited Italian buffet for 13.50 €. From salad to antipasti to pasta and freshly baked pizze from the pizza oven, it's a food lovers dream. A la carte meals are available in the evening. The choice is varied, there are dishes for meat lovers as well as vegetarians, and the prices are fair. The portions are generous and very good. Le Casanova is a true taste of Italy, and it's conveniently located next to the Best Western in Thoiry. You can enjoy that extra glass of quality wine because you can walk there in 2 minutes!

Erratic customer service. Arrived without reservation, staff very helpful to make a table for 8. When paying (away from the table), and asked by waiter if everything was fine, I said that the filets de perche weren't very good and tasted of burnt oil. The waiter got upset, saying we should have complained during the meal I told him I was just answering his question and wasn't asking for any discount but he continued to be defensive and saying it was our fault that we didn't signal the problem. I would have expected a reply something more along the lines thanks for the feedback, we'll check with the kitchen and do better next time. The incident needlessly spoilt the atmosphere. Message to the boss perhaps some staff training is required. Paul

A modern restaurant with huge terrace as well a little park, good for the parents with the kids, can obersve from distance. Got a big parking too. When you arrived 1900, the server sit you quickly but took sometime for the menu to come. Starters arrived fast but main course quite a long time. Dessert menu never arrived, we left without waiting any longer. Despite all these, food quality was very good price is slightly expensive. If you've time, it's a pretty good place to go.

The restaurant has been recently remodeled and is now much better than before. Service is good and the pizza not bad at all. We go often and feel quite at home.

I went to this place already twice. Always full, always good food, sometimes the service a bit slow. But all in all a very nice evening with good food.
